Oklahoma Factory Shoppes
Oklahoma Factory Shoppes is a large outlet mall located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Oklahoma Factory Shoppes currently totals over 348,000 square feet (32,300 m2) in size. Oklahoma Factory Shoppes opened on August 5, 2011 [1] and is currently one of the largest malls owned by Horizon Group. The mall was originally proposed to open in fall 2009, however the economic recession of 2008, put plans on hold. Eventually construction began in July 2010.[2] The total cost of the development is $50 million, with $3.9 million in infrastructure improvements by the city of Oklahoma City. It was the largest retail investment of 2010, a down year in new retail construction.[3]
